Musicians on KVMR

Musicians - The Musicians Category would be to list the Musicians whose music is performed or played on KVMR.
- Essentially a listing that with links to their personal web sites (1st priority), distributors' web site (2nd priority) or label's web site (3rd priority)
- The musicians list would come from KVMR's Music Library Catalog and Playlists.
- Acknowledged as a feature we are not ready for and as an example of the potential

KVMR Volunteers

Volunteers are the largest group of people ... after the listeners. that is, and they make KVMR possible! KVMR Volunteers will be able to register as Users and eventually update their resources and availability. Volunteers - The Volunteer Category would be for pages about the people that volunteer their time and expertise to KVMR.
- All broadcasters are volunteers, but not all volunteers are broadcasters. Duplicate bio pages would not be allowed to (essentially) cross Category boundaries thus encouraging articles unique to each individual's various roles. While an article's text could be duplicated for different roles if worded appropriately, this practice would not be encouraged.
- Each article would be the individual's bio page and should include their volunteer expertise and related information and possibly a phone number & extension, an email address and an image.

KVMR Member Supporters

KVMR Member Supporters, our subscribers, donors, benefactors and every other contributor to this community effort are our life blood. While KVMR Members would not get their own bio page ... just yet (& maybe never), but we will be able to eventually "recognize" them should they Register with our web site. The advantage being, they would be able to access extra pages where they could download higher (Syndication) quality concert downloads, etc. KVMR Members - The KVMR Members Category would be an entry portal for the people that provide financial support to KVMR.
- A basic page would provide links to special content accessible to active KVMR Members and eventually the ability to customize an individual member's KVMR Home Page.
- The secure login individual pages in this category would be active member's KVMR Home Pages where their Membership ID #s, Email Alert & RSS News Feed selections, Renewal Reminders and etc. would be displayed for use and customization.

KVMR's Volunteer Broadcasters

Broadcasters create, produce & engineer their own shows & are the "public" heart of community radio KVMR. This page will become a listing of our current Broadcasters as well as those of yesteryear. Broadcasters - The Broadcaster's Category of the People Section would be for pages related to certified KVMR Broadcasters, past and present. With as many broadcaster as KVMR has there would be Active and Inactive listings and alphabetical groupings.
- All broadcasters are volunteers, but not all volunteers are broadcasters. A broadcaster's bio page would be an individual page and would typically include the programs they hosted, several paragraphs about themselves and how came to KVMR, a picture and a kvmr.org email address. Individual broadcasters might wish to have more or less.
The minimum would be their name, program information and when they were certified or started their program(s). This could almost be done automatically upon a new broadcaster getting their first KVMR program ... it could be part of the certification process when they signed their contracts.

The relatively few low paid positions provide continuity and coordination. Staff - The Staff Category would be for pages related to KVMR paid Staff members and Contractors.
- Some broadcasters are also staff, but not all staff are broadcasters. KVMR's Board of Directors are hard working, volunteer shepherds of our overall strategy and priorities. This Board of Directors Category page will offer a brief, intro version of each board member's bio and a thumbnail picture that will link to a full page board member bio page. Board Members - The Board Member Category would be for pages about the people that are elected or appointed to KVMR's volunteer Board of Directors.
