Mikail Graham is a composer, performer, producer, promoter, radio show host, and music technology journalist based in Nevada City, California with family roots there dating back to 1849. He has toured extensively for more than twenty years throughout Europe, Japan, and the USA as a performer, music technology evangelist, producer, mixing engineer and worked as a studio musician on numerous CD releases featuring a wide variety of music. He is an active KVMR broadcaster and currently the executive producer and host of "The Other Side," an eclectic radio program aired weekly on Tuesday nights from 8pm-10pm and heard in one form or another since August 1978 exclusively on KVMR 89.5 FM & simulcast on www.kvmr.org.

His association with KVMR dates back to a fateful day in 1977 when he first met with the original station license holders Lee Amundsen, Charles Woods, David Osborn and KVMR's very first on-air broadcaster Jima Abbott, to first discuss the idea of starting up a local community radio station.

Last but not least, he holds the distinct honor of being the last of the original team that helped start community radio station KVMR-FM back in 1978 who is still regularly on the air. Thanks to this long time commitment to KVMR Mikail has the unique perspective of having met or known of every iteration of broadcasters, management and staff since KVMR went on the air in July of 1978.
