Board Member: Ed Martin
Ed Martin, Board Member Ed Martin is a host of Classical Edge and currently serves as producer of the show. In the 1980s, he hosted American vernacular music shows on KVMR. More recently, Ed was active at WREK, the student radio station of Georgia Tech. He worked on regulatory compliance and governance issues, as well as being a music director and executive producer. He was a color commentator for Yellow Jacket volleyball broadcasts. He still sits in from time to time as an analyst for Nevada Union volleyball telecasts. In his native Georgia, Ed practiced public interest law and ran the Peachtree Road Race every July 4th. He returned to school at the turn of the century for a degree in forest policy, studying small communities in the path of suburban sprawl. Ed currently works as the city planner for the City of Nevada City. He also serves on the board of Literature Alive, helping stage and sponsor literary events. Ed is delighted to appear as Lyndon B. Johnson in the Marching Presidents contingent of Nevada City's annual Constitution Day parade. |
